This takes place in Rhode Island and New York. The time all this book happen was 1776 to 1777.
It was during the slave period . Isabel was the main character it talked about her through the whole book. Ms.Locton always gave her a hard time and is the reason is she always mad at Isabel.If you want to know if Isabel and her sister breaks free or not and they have to stay you have to read this book. It starts of she beaks free but soldiers catch her. The reason why is because the author wanted us to know that slavery is not right. If you enjoy reading books about little African American girls or slaves then this is the book for you.
Tye it is obvious from your review that you understand setting, protagonist, antagonist, and hook. However, your summary is lacking in details. I do not want you to give anything away to future readers, but you do need to get their interest. Your personal hook is cute, but hardly one that would attract other students your age.
